We all love to show-off our backs, arms and bellies by wearing some trendy cholis and blouses. But, when it comes to winter wedding, we re-think about our garments again and again. You want to cut the cold but still look stylish. So this is the perfect time to bring out the rich silks and velvets. If you have a pile of invites lying on the side table making you think about your ensemble then we make it easier for you to choose. We list different ways to flaunt velvet.

Blouse: Whether you have a net sari or a georgette one, you just need to replace your blouse with a velvet one. A full-sleeved velvet blouse with embroidery or embellishments on the sleeves would not only look good with a sari but a lehnga as well.
Jacket: The best blouse design for a winter wedding is a jacket style blouse. It keeps you warm and makes you look elegant. You can go for a short bodice style jacket or a long one as well. For women with a pear shaped body, long jackets work best. These velvet jackets can be paired with saries, lehngas, over anarkali suits or even pencil pants. In case you are tall go for a knee-length buttoned velvet jacket with pants.

Anarkali: We all by now have net and georgette anarkalis. But have you thought of getting one in velvet? It is time you do so. A black velvet suit with ancient gold embellishments and a contrasting dupata in georgette could be one pick. Another option could be a bodice in velvet and the flair in net.
You can also opt for a straight fit velvet suit with embellished pencil pants.
A velvet dupata: If you think that a velvet blouse or suit is common then go for a velvet dupata. A crochet anarkali suit with a contrasting velvet dupata is trendy and different. We recently spotted Anushka Sharma wearing the same attire to a wedding.
