Use this natural makeup remover to melt down your makeup.
Just like you apply makeup in the morning, removing it at night is as important. Sleeping with your makeup on can clog the pores and may lead to many skin issues like blackheads and pimples. There are tons of removers in the market, but why do you need to spend on things which you can easily make at home?
If you’re not a DIY (do-it-yourself) kind of person, you can directly apply coconut oil, olive oil or even baby oil. But if these options are too greasy for you, check out this recipe for an all-natural homemade makeup remover that contains aloe vera water and extra virgin olive oil.
Aloe vera has many calming properties. It will refresh and cool your skin (read more benefits of aloe vera here). And olive oil easily breaks down the pigment without drying out the skin.
Mix less than half a cup of extra virgin olive oil into 2 cups of aloe vera water. Shake the mixture thoroughly. You can refrigerate it for one month.
When you need to remove makeup, take a little bit on a piece of cotton or a wet tissue wipes and swipe your face gently. The makeup will come off easily. Then wash with your regular face wash or moisturising soap.
