Kajal is our go-to product and a makeup staple that every girl owns. Its correct application can make your eyes looks bigger and beautiful. However, there are a few mistakes you might be making unknowingly that can ruin your look. Fix them to get the best results.
#Mistake 1: Applying only on the lower lash line: Some girls only apply kajal on the lower lash line thinking the job is done, but it’s not! To define eyes, you need to apply kajal on the upper lash line, too. Moreover, applying kajal heavily on the lower lash line can make your eyes look smaller. If you want to define your lower eyelid, apply a single stroke. It will also prevent kajal from smudging.

#Mistake 2: Only using black and brown liner: White and nude eyeliners on your bottom line can make your eyes look more awake and refreshed. Many celebrities do this trick to make their eyes look bigger and open.

#Mistake 3: Smudging kajal when you’ve dark circles: To get that smoldering effect, many girls smudge their kajal, which not only looks messy and incomplete, but also accentuates dark circles.

#Mistake 4: Not smudge-proofing: The foolproof way to keep kajal from smudging is after applying kajal, trace over the line with a matching powder shadow.

#Mistake 5: Lining the entire waterline with kajal: To make your eyes look bigger, do not line the entire waterline with kajal. Instead line them halfway with kajal and then pick a pencil brush and with soft hands smudge it on the other half.

#Mistake 6: Using bad quality kajal: Using poor quality kajal is harmful for the eyes. Opt for kajal that smoothly glides in one stroke and give you the desired results in no time.

#Mistake 7: Not sharpening your kajal: A blunt kajal will never give you the desired results. In fact, you will end up with uneven liner and smudged look. Have patience and sharpen your kajal for a nice and crisp look.
