There are a lot of hairstyle options for dirty, unwashed hair!
So you are too busy to shampoo? Feeling too lazy? Woke up late? Or it’s just too cold to wet your hair today? You may have your reasons for not washing your hair. But that doesn’t mean it has to look bad.
A lot of hair experts suggest that they can style hair better 1 or 2 days after washing and so can you. This is because freshly washed hair is too smooth and the styles don’t stay put on them. Your hair may appear oily and flat but with our smart ideas you will actually look trendy without washing your hair.
L-R: Sonam Kapoor rocks a braided curled side pony; Karishma Kapoor keeps it easy and chic.
Side Ponytails Are Easy
Believe it or not, it is good to have slightly oily hair to get a good ponytail look. Make it interesting by tying your ponytail on the side. Comb your hair normally with a fine tooth comb and gather the hair near one ear and tie it up. This look, like Karishma’s ponytail works for college and office. If you want to do something elaborate, curl up your ponytail like Sonam and you can even go to a party. This look is for those with long or medium length hair.
L-R: Jennifer Lopez tries a braided bun; Kim Kardashian keeps it half clean and half messy.
Buns To The Rescue
If you don’t shampoo for a couple of days the roots of your hair become oily and the rest remains dry. Make this situation work for you by getting the elegant and sophisticated bun look—especially if you have long hair. To get Jennifer Lopez’s look, comb your hair and tie a high ponytail. Then, divide your hair into two sections and make two braids. Wrap the braids one by one around the ponytail and use U-pins to keep the bun in shape. You need to make a high ponytail for Kim Kardashian’s look as well. Next, twirl your hair and wrap them around the base of the ponytail and secure them with U-pins, shake it loosely and you will have Kim’s half-neat and half-messy bun.

Hair Accessories Are a Quick Fix
Hair bands and hair accessories are perfect for those busy days when you don’t have any time to style your hair. All you need to do is shake up your hair and wear a chunky or thick hair band like Leighton Meester or hair accessory like a big bow and you are ready. Scarves are also a good idea and you can quickly fold them up and tie them around your hair. You can pin them to your hair at the back and leave them loose or tie them into a ponytail. If your hair is too oily this is your best option as it hides a major portion of your hair.
