Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan was Anita Dongre's showstopper at the grand finale of LFW 2017. Day 5 of Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort reached the epitome of its glory with grand showcases by renowned designers such as Divya Reddy, Gaurang Shah, Sashi Vangapalli, Jayanti Reddy and Gaurav Khanijo.
Day 4 saw exhibitions from popular designers such as Tarun Tahiliani, Nupur Kanoi, Savio Jon, Rara Avis by Sonal Verma, Amit GT, Fahd Khatri, Arpita Mehta.
Day 3 witnessed enticing arrays from fashion masters: Label Ritu Kumar, Narendra Kumar, Payal Singhal, Farah Sanjana, Falguni Shane Peacock.
Day 2 was dedicated to Sustainable fashion and Indian textiles. The day began with a showcase of 5 Kutch artisans's collections: Somaiya Kala Vidya, Chaman Siju, Sufiyan with Madame Hall, Shrujan, followed by collections of ace designers: Rajesh Pratap Singh, Soham Dave, Sanjukta Dutta, Naushad Ali, Abraham and Thakore.
Day 1: Besides Gen Next, fashion gurus Amit Aggarwal, Urvashi Kaur, Kunal Rawal, Anuj Bhutani also showcased splendid resort wear arrays. Prominent designer brands Eka, 11:11, Ka-Sha and Antar-Agni displayed their brilliant collections on the same day.

Using traditional Assamese motifs like Singkhap, Kolki, Moourah and Pokhila, designer Sanjukta Dutta unveiled her latest collection, Mekhela chador. We adored her fresh take on traditional attires such as blouse designs, tasseled saris and lehenga skirts. The use of tassels added a colourful vibe to the entire array. Tassels are here to stay this year for sure.
