It’s not Monday – the first day of the week when we are geared up to go to office and work. Nor it is Friday – when you are waiting for the weekend to start. It is the monotonous Wednesday again! The middle of the week is when you don’t feel like dressing up, feel jaded and tired, simply looking for something new. Well, it is time you wear something different and cut the boredom in the boardroom.
Pop of colours: Beige, whites and blacks are clichés. Its time you add a dash of colours to your work wardrobe. A coloured pant suit is a good start. If you want to keep your look a little toned down, go for an orange blazer with blue jeans. You can also try a check pant suit. Make sure you wear minimum accessories with this look.
Ditch your pant suits and shirts. You have worn them the whole week so now it is time to go for
something different. Pair a jacket with a black knee length skirt (if you can wear skirts to work) or
even wide-legged pants would go well. It is time you give up your blazer and go for jackets. If you
want to stick to blazers, go for the non-traditional options like a satin one or check patterns.
Pair up peplum tops with office wear. Plain-coloured peplum tops with pants or tights can look great. A slightly different silhouette can really help. Don’t just stop at peplums, try a geometric
top. Maybe you can pair it with a blazer.
Get over with the usual accessories you wear to work. Replace them with wooden rings or chic jewellery pieces, like cuffs. Go for cufflinks! They are unusual and perfect to make a mark at work.
