Shreya Dhingra pairs a bell-sleeved top with a sari.
Who says saris must only be worn with traditional sari blouses, or with strappy sandals for that matter? This look focuses on the ease of wearing a sari for a modern working woman. Try this when you’re going out for a working lunch or a business meeting.
Ditching the classic sari blouse, I chose a V-neck bell-sleeved top for geometric patterned silk sari. The drape is simple and flowy. Instead of the usual feminine sandals or heels, I wore fringed loafers to keep me comfortable during a long work day, while adding an edgy, fusion touch to my overall look.
I always recommend neutral colours for work, so here too I kept the colour palette neutral as I was headed to a meeting. I accentuated the overall look with a statement neckpiece.
